Both mammography and MRI are standard, well-established imaging techniques used worldwide for breast screening. Your radiologist will review your history beforehand.
Is it painful?
Mammography involves brief compression of the breast tissue; most patients describe it as momentary discomfort rather than pain. MRI is non-invasive aside from the contrast injection.
How long does the visit take?
Plan for the mammogram and MRI to be completed within a single visit, with report delivery and consultation following. We'll confirm exact timing when we schedule around your trip.
Do I need to fast beforehand?
Specific preparation instructions are provided at booking, tailored to your appointment time and menstrual cycle timing where relevant.
